Reliable as always for Backroads
This was my third time doing the Backroads event with Transpyr. As usual, the organization was top-notch. I always get the hotel pack and GPS rental, and both services were exactly as expected. The route GPX files were sent out well in advance, and the pre-event info was comprehensive. It's why I keep coming back; they're consistently good.
Good event, some minor hiccups
I signed up for the E-Transpyr. The actual event itself was a lot of fun, really enjoyed the route. The support stations were well-stocked, and the mechanical support crew was helpful when I had a small issue with my chain. My only comment was that the communication about the exact start times for each stage could have been clearer a few days before. It caused a bit of confusion in the mornings, but overall, it was a solid experience.
Smooth registration, clear details
I registered for the Grand Raid MTB event this year. The website experience was pretty good; I found all the information I needed about the route and what was included in the registration fee. The payment process was straightforward, and I received a confirmation email almost immediately. I also opted for the luggage transport service, which was easy to add on. The only minor thing was that it took me a minute to find where to add the hotel pack, but once I did, it was simple enough. Looking forward to the event!
